I know gas station is an American term but it kind of suits these old buildings. There's very few of them left in Perth these days. Slowly but surely they're being destroyed, Perth is brilliant at doing this. So I'm going to photograph them as I locate them, a bit of urban archaeology.
This one's on Scarborough Beach Rd in Mt Hawthorn, I think I've only ever seen 2 cars actually buy petrol from there, they mostly do their business in the mechanic shop out the back. I think the sign says Rino Orifici, apparently he specialised in Fords.
