Just after we arrived at the White Quartz camp (see 2 posts down) we got to witness an amazing thing. Two King Brown snakes were gettin their sex on right in front of us. They were completely entwined around each other, extremely focused and payed us very little attention.
Which is odd for a King Brown, they usually pay you a lot of attention if you get that close and it's not the type of attention you really want. They can kill you! But I guess these two had other things on their minds. It was seriously one of the most amazing things I have ever witnessed. It was like a dance of the seven veils, that's really the only way I can describe it.

Wasn't it a King Brown that did for that poor bloke in Alice? Nasty things they can be. The doctor in the story is quoted as saying that even if they had have known he'd been bitten earlier, there wasn't much they could do for him.
