I went to the Smithsonian Institute when I was in Washington a few years back, I spent half a day there and that was no way near long enough. They have everything from Dorothy's red shoes from the Wizard of Oz to George Washington's army coat. They also serve the god damn biggest ice cream sundae I have ever seen in their replicated ice cream parlour downstairs :o)
But I digress. I love a good picture, I'd love to be able to take great pictures. I may one day. Anyway here are the finalists in the 3rd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest.
